Big Bend
National Park
If you find yourself with spare time, our favorite National Park is an hour and 45-minute excursion from Marfa to the entrance sign. It's a true Texan treasure with majestic canyons, trails weaving through breathtaking landscapes, the tranquil Rio Grande, and the awe-inspiring Chisos Mountains. It's a sprawling 801,163 acres of natural beauty. Just after tying the knot, we’ll be spending the next two days in the park (Sunday and Monday) while staying in Terlingua. We’re extending a heartfelt invitation and would love for you to join us if you have time to unwind and romp in the Big Bend. Basecamp Terlingua has a few lodging options for anyone to be comfortable in the desert.

The Chinati Foundation
Step into a world of concrete, neon, and desert artworks at the ethereal art foundation. Reservations are strongly encouraged but worth it. Large contemporary art collection, you could let it take up a whole afternoon if you wanted. There's open viewing for $15 or guided tour options. Let Judd's installations inspire you.
